Friday Funnies

I know we’re all still reeling from the US Open, but tennis is relentless and there’s lots of action this weekend in the form of Davis Cup. Davis Cup is an interesting phenomenon because it can bring the intensity of a Grand Slam and the hilarity of an exhibition all at once. Best of all, it tends to make people want to dance and sing and dress up in funny costumes. I present the following as proof…

You’ll come to realize this is the standard Spanish celebration. Group hug, singing, dancing, jumping up and down…

I’m 100% convinced Roger made up the lyrics to this song/cheer as he went.

If you’re going all the way to Serbia to support your guys, you better dress the part.

I want in on this!!!

More Davis Cup fun after the break.

Wash Mikhail Youzhny like 12 in this?

Roger’s not the only Swiss singer around.

And again. Those Swiss guys like a good chancon.

One more Spanish celebration.
